Thank you for your prayers. I have only said "no" to the opportunities before me two times since Belonging House started. The first was when God said move to London. I didn't say "no," but I delayed and called it "discernment." That delay has cost me a lot, and made it a lot harder to get established. And I was offered a place in a doctoral program at St. Andrew's University. That would have solved my visa issues and given me a level of perceived credibility that would have made a lot of things easier. I would have gotten my Doctorate before Covid. In both cases I trusted my eyes and not the Lord. I did get on track, and I did get into London, and although I am not established, I have a toe-hold. It's not been easy, but somehow, God continues to provide. I often look at the amount of money going out and know that sometimes a lot of resources pass through my hands, even though the bank account looks pretty slim. And I have always had a place to sleep, indoors, and I have always had very nice food. And often, very nice company. And most extraordinary of all, without an office, and staff, or things people say you need, I keep writing, preaching, teaching, and doing discipleship with emerging artists. Our community grows, and we see miracles and transformed lives. It is the life of the Holy Spirit creating though me. One day I was sitting with a friend in London and we were talking, and we discovered that I have slept in every borough of London. (I don't recommend this.) Somehow God has gone ahead and I have scoped out the place where our inheritance lies. Even if you miss an opportunity, if you keep moving, and you keep listening to the Voice of the Shepherd, you will end up where you need to be. So keep going, and don't stop. Jesus wants to make something beautiful with your life. He Never Fails, Christ
